May 8th will be a very special day for every mom in the US. MOTHER"S DAY! A day of celebration for moms! Whether you are a working mom, stay-at-home mom or work-from-home mom, you should be celebrated!

Women tend to put themselves on the back burner all the time. We are putting out fires, dealing with melt downs by our kiddos, listening when our husbands need an ear and so many other things! We are superwomen! Or everyone expects us to be! At least that is how I feel in my house.

Bistro on the Boulevard

City Bar and Fondue
City Bar and Fondue is a fun and exciting social gathering spot in the newly developed 700 block of Gervais Street in the heart of the Vista. For those that don’t know, Fondue is a cooking method in which fresh breads, meats, vegetables and desserts are dipped into warm pots of cheeses, flavored broths, and melted chocolates. This cooking technique is performed tableside for you and your group to enjoy. In addition to the full four course meal, we will also offer a selection of the highest quality appetizers, small plates and happy hour style food menus to enjoy alongside with world class cocktails. The food and drinks will consist of only the highest quality ingredients and freshness known to exist.

Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse - Columbia
Cowboy Brazilian Steakhouse is a unique, all you can eat “Churrascaria”. Featuring a full Salad Bar with over 30 items, 6 Brazilian Hot Dishes and a “parade” of 16 different cuts of beef, chicken, pork and lamb sliced at your table by our Gauchos.

Gervais & Vine is the Vista's favorite gathering place for diners that desire the unique blend of a French cafe, Spanish bodega, and Italian cucina. Our wine bar is the ideal place to unwind after work, or gather with coworkers for lunch. We are pleased to offer a beverage menu accented with an eclectic selection of over 40 esoteric, award winning wines from around the world.

Chef Jason Holowacz creates his menu with wholesome, locally grown ingredients and lunch and dinner specials feature fresh fish, choice meats, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Experience a selection from our small plate menu and then make your wine selection from either a full or half glass, or by the bottle. We also feature live music on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, and when the weather is welcoming, our patio is a great place to enjoy all that Gervais & Vine has to offer. JP 4Corners - Columbia
JP's 4 Corners offers distinctive flavors of the Southwest from Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. The area where these four states meet is known as "Four Corners;" hence our name. Steaks are aged and hand-cut, sauces and dressings are made from scratch daily, and desserts are made in-house. Chef Tony even shreds his own cheese from the block! We also offer fresh, hand-cut salmon and grilled crusted Ahi tuna. Mr. Peterson is proud to put his name on this restaurant and we are proud to bring you great food and our Signature Service.

Mill Pond Steakhouse
The Mill Pond Steak House is the only up-scaled steakhouse in the midlands. We offer the best Certified Angus Beef that is aged for 40 plus days before it is served to the guest. We have a well developed and seasoned staff that is committed to your dining needs. Inspired by its sister restaurants in Charleston, Oak Steakhouse and The Macintosh, The Oak Table will serve dishes that expound on the freshness of locally sourced, seasonal products. The focal point of the restaurant is a majestic aged wooden table, a reminder of the integrity of time-honored American cuisine.

Rosso Trattoria Italia
ROSSO is an elegantly casual Italian trattoria created by one of the founders of Mr. Friendly's, Gervais & Vine and Solstice Kitchen. The warm, open kitchen features a wood-fired grill and wood-burning oven and the cuisine is simple, rustic and absolutely fantastic. Using local, seasonal products whenever possible, the menu boasts an array of antipasti, fresh pastas, grilled meats and wood-roasted dishes. Their wood-grilled Tuscan Steak Frites is among the best steaks in town and the Chicken Parmesan--an American-Italian classic--sets the standard. The wine list is decidedly Italian with some New World wines with Italian spirit. ROSSO also features a variety of Italian spirits and craft beers, as well. The dining room is rustic, yet modern with rich woods and sleek leather chairs. There are two large communal tables for small groups to get together or for strangers to become friends. Located in Trenholm Plaza, in the heart of Forest Acres, just five minutes from downtown Columbia.

Ruth's Chris Steak House - Columbia
