Summer Movie Series in Finlay Park

By Jeanette Dempsey, Publisher June 24, 2016
This school year has really flown by. June 6th was the "official" last day of school for my daughters. The past two years they have been attending online public school at SC Connections Academy. It took some adjusting to get their schedules down, but once we got on the right track, we were off and running.

Since I work from home, I spent some REALLY great quality time with them. I have to tell you that I am relieve that my older daughter has graduated from high school this year and my youngest daughter is going back to regular public school next school year. YEAHHHHHHH! I know I will miss her, but I have a hard time concentrating with my kids at home.

Anywho, my daughters and I had plenty of time to hang out and watch our favorite shows after their work was done. We caught up on our favorite TV shows, Law & Order, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory and many more. We even took time to watch the Roots series (VHS tapes). Yes, I still have VHS tapes. You never know, I may need to defend myself from the "VHS Tape Bandit" and I will have something to use to clobber him with. LOL! JK

I wanted to share the upcoming Summer Movies Series that the City of Columbia is hosting down at Finlay Park. I may have to pack a blanket, chair and cool drinks to check out a few movies and share some pics. If you go down to watch a movie, Take some pics and share them with us.
