Macaroni Kid Reviews "Disney on Ice - Let's Celebrate!"

Don't Miss Disney on Ice!

DISNEY ON ICE WAS AMAZING!

Opening Night was filled with parents and their children happily rushing towards the Colonial Life Arena with smiles on their faces, anticipating the Disney on Ice - Let's Celebrate! show that would soon begin. The excitement on the children's faces was enough to make any parent or grandparent feel just a few years younger. As giddy as the children that accompanied them.

As I got close to the entrance, I saw two ladies and three pre-teen girls preparing to take a picture before going inside for the show. The girls were huddled together on the grass waiting for mom to take a picture. Instead of saying "CHEESE" the shouted "DISNEY ON ICE"! I have to admit that I got a little more excited about the show.

My two daughters (9 and 16 and my youngest daughter's best friend 8) attended the show with me. Since I have never gone to Disney on Ice, I was not sure what to expect.

The girls were so excited to see all the Princesses and Pinocchio started talking about birthdays. The Very Unmerry Birthday Party with the characters of Alice in Wonderland. Mickey the Sorcerer cleaned up a big ole' birthday mess.
My favorite part was when Mickey was on the Ice with the brooms. I was amazed at how the "brooms" worked together and made the show an event to remember.

The villains from the movies took the ice and got the audience involved in the show. The Evil Queen from Snow White tried to get Mickey to eat a poison apple. Mickey kept asking the audience if he should eat the apple. The audience loved telling him that he shouldn't eat the apple and he finally listened. The best part was Minnie and the rest of the gang showed up to save the day and make all the villains scurry away.

Then, Minnie wanted to be a Princess and find her true love. Cinderella's Fairy Godmother had all the Disney Princesses tell there stories of love. She said the three magic words "Bibbidi, Bobbidi Boo!" and Minnie's true love appeared. MICKEY!!!

After a short intermission, we were taken to the lovely sands of Hawaii! Lilo and Stich showed up with many of their friends and we took a lovely journey with kites and Dragons making an appearance.  The next scene was in a home with a chimmney that was set up for Santa to arrive. Holy Smokes Santa did show up, Santa Goofy that is! What a great way to make an entrance! Then all of our friends from Toy Story arrived! It was so much fun!

The highlight of the event was the Big Finale! All the characters took the ice for an AMAZING finish! I really loved Santa's sleigh with all the lights!

From start to finish we were thoroughly entertained, excited, stimulated and overjoyed! The show is amazing and worth the trip for any family to attend.

My daughters were completely entertained the entire time. Singing the songs, dancing in their seats to the music and watching to intently they could hardly blink. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you attend the show as soon as possible! You will love it too!
