Are you a mom looking to keep your infant or toddler busy while filling your own cup of adult interactions. Check out this list of local playgroups or mom's groups that you can join to reduce the stress in your life.

Babywearing International of Columbia
BWI of Columbia has been serving Midlands Babywearers since 2009. We are Columbia's oldest and largest babywearing education resource, and our goal is to spread the babywearing love in and around South Carolina's capital city.

Holistic Moms Network of the Midlands
A local chapter of the national non-profit organization connecting parents who are interested in holistic health and green living.

Irmo Mother of Preschoolers (MOPS)
MOPS is a positive and caring network designed to nurture mothers with children through infancy through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet in churches through the United States, Canada, and nineteen other countries.  The women are of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire- to be the best mothers they can be!
Fee: $30/year (non-refundable)
Meetings: First and Third Wednesdays (9:00 am -11:30 am)

La Leche League (LLL) of Columbia
All breastfeeding moms and moms-to-be interested in breastfeeding are encouraged to give one of the LLL of Columbia leaders for breastfeeding help or information. The group always welcomes babies at their meetings.
Morning Meetings: first Tuesday (10:00 am -11:30 am)

MM is a private support group for moms in South Carolina. In the group you can ask questions, get to know other moms in your area, join in on game posts and other posts that reach out to our members, to make this group more personal and tight knit. You can share your happy stories, sad stories, rants, and raves.

Mommy and Chill
Mommy and Chill is a play group for Moms with babies two years old and under. Each week Mommy and Chill organizers set meet ups at local libraries, parks, free and paid play areas, and we even have the occasional and necessary Moms Night Out.

This is a chance for you and your child to develop a lifelong friendship with someone you both can relate to.
