My first experience with The Original Harlem Globetrotters was when Fred "Curly" Neal was a member of the team. Yep, I am dating myself, but the reality is, NO ONE handles the basketball like the Guinness Book of World Record Holder Harlem Globetrotters.
Many moons ago, I remember taking my kids to their first Harlem Globetrotters show compliments of the Army. I was fortunate enough to receive free tickets because of my military status while stationed in Alaska.
My kids loved it and so did I! We were so engrossed in the antics, trick shots and ball handling of the players we literally forgot to duck when they threw water into the stands all over us.
Although we got a little wet, we had a blast and were looking forward to seeing them again when they returned. The Harlem Globetrotters show is definitely a family-friendly event.
For the past 4+ years, I (Macaroni Kid Columbia) has given away a family 4-pack of tickets to local family friendly events and activities that take place in Columbia.
My family and I will be attending the upcoming show and we would love to have some new friends join us. One of my favorite contests is to have a giveaway for ........THE ORIGINAL HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS!!
I love everything about them! The antics on the court, has even the youngest child staring in amazement wondering how they do the things they do.
